God, do you guys know how long it's been since I've worked with LiveJournal's S1 Generator layout? Years. I think the very last one I ever made was for Nutpuppy-- then S2 came in and I found refuted and have been whoring on Flexible Squares ever since. I don't think any of you know this, but when people show me a brand new journaling site that's like LiveJournal I just can't resist it. And jessmacphisto gave me an Inksome invite code, so I just had to make myself a username and journal there. I think I might be using it to store original fiction? idk. (Jess, Shahni, the reason why I'm not running to add your journals now is because if I do use that journal for original fiction, I don't want to have it spamming your flists and burning your eyes. XD) But yeah, God. It makes me kinda sad now to look back at all the journals I HTMLed; firstly because EWWWW what was I thinking, the design is so atrocious, and secondly because... awwww. They were kinda lovely (in a "I-was-created-by-a-seventeen-year-old-who-barely-understands-Photoshop" way) before LiveJournal decided to go fucking insane and smack ads all over the place. And yeah, I know, I just contradicted myself. Uhh. They're horrible in a "gross, they're so darkly-colored" way, but lovely in a nostalgic way? They remind me of laughing, loving life... AND 13THORGY. HAHAHA. I blame that RP entirely for turning me into a Photoshop nerd. I went to someone's journal while I was logged out (I was trying to remember exactly what it was that I did with Generator; I was checking her eljay 'cause I remembered tweaking her layout so that it was blue) and found:
Which just made me laugh. Jeeeeeesus Christ I liked Katamari even two years ago. I think I've called Katamari!AU for nearly every fandom I've been in so far after FFVII. (Yes. That's meant to be Zack.) I know for sure that I made another KataFFVII manip... somewhere. And then there was psycholocked and him tasting people and making them roll up evidence and punching the shit out of Phoenix.
Speaking of original fiction? Guys, one of my friends writes poetry. And I knew she wrote poetry before, but she never showed it to me, which I can understand but DAMN IT she should've because it's REALLY good poetry. There's some that I love more than others but ugh.
