I deliberately overslept. Couldn't decide whether or not I wanted to go to class so I set my phone to "snooze" every ten minutes for two hours. So I heard the opening of "Love Love Guilty" like 12 times this morning. Was having a weird dream about being back in high school with Lady and the Tramp-esque small tables everywhere and wanting to rent a bike but not being able to because Marianna (Chan-- yeah, the STCer) was being mean and hogging the bike I wanted. Also Fiona (Woo) and Seo Yun were eating spaghetti bolognaise and calmly bleeding from their empty eye sockets so uh... I have no idea what was going on there.
Anyway, I went to Chinese class late, and we did some weird subconscious personality assessment thing in Mandarin, but I was really sleepy and had had no coffee so I was slumping down in my chair, and during the break I turned to Colette, pulled a face and was like, "Cor-reeeeeeeet-tuhhhhhhhh..." And she was like "POSSESSED BEING, I SHALL HUG THE ZOMBIE OUT OF YOU" and gave me a hug. ksdjbgksjbhgfhbjdf HUGS, I love 'em. Somewhere between being a prickly emo teenager and coming to university I've turned into a hug-ophile. ♥ (Not a hugo-phile. I don't know any Hugos.) I got a hug from Lloyd too 'cause I was standing outside the hall after the lecture and talking to a friend, and he came out late and walked toward me and did this huge stretchy YAWWWWN and kept on walking past me, and I was like, "... Dude. I thought you were gonna hug me for a moment there." So he was like "OH NO oh gosh I'm sorry for misleading you. Hugging time for real!" and came over and glomped me. YEE.
I hope Ms. Chen is teaching Chinese 8 next sem. I felt so sad walking out of that lecture hall today. :( Kind of the same as yesterday when Ishida sensei said she might not be teaching Japanese 2 next semester. Why am I so clingy akjbgksdg I form attachments to the weirdest people. It's not like I was friends with either of them, yanno? I just struck up conversation with them once or twice. Also they were really good teachers. Augh I hope Ms. Chen teaches Chinese 8, she's so tough in terms of her expectations and stuff but she's probably the best Chinese teacher I've ever had in my life. D: D: D:
I feel like I need to pick up a Chinese basics textbook or something. We're doing so much on grammar/sentence structure/question words/particles in Japanese and I never ever ever formally learned that in Chinese (I just... sorta... bumbled my way through things) and now I want to because I think part of the reason why I'm so bad is because I know random vocab like... I don't know, Chinese idioms and stuff, but I don't know basic things like the general order of subjects, time, verbs, nouns, destinations, adjectives etc. in sentences where in Japanese I know for sure what goes where so I can make sentences on the spot... kinda. I didn't know how to say "which" in Chinese until just now, when I asked crystal63. That is just... tragic. How I have managed to make it this far without failing is completely beyond me.
I bought, um, stripey hand warmers. :D I have wanted hand warmers for years. Years. I don't think you can get them in Hong Kong (it's not cold enough there for those); I mean, I guess you could always make 'em yourself, but that's kind of beside the point. They're so warm and stripey and nngh I love stripes so much. I also got a pack of Uno cards for no real reason. Um. It might be fun to play it instead of Bartok? Bartok's like Uno, but... a thousand times more evil. Yeah.
I came home and there was the most awesome link on su_herald to like... this Angel/Spike, Angel/EVERYONE music video. It's just. askjbgksdg I am awed, it is just insane how all the pieces have been fitted together with parallels everywhere and LOTS OF FLASHING but not in a way that causes epileptic fits and it's that horrible "Don't Cha" song by the Pussycat Dolls that I hate but the MV makes it work, and like, I pretty much screamed and started laughing when Angel circled Dru and Angel circled Spike and they were practically identical. CREEPY.
cnyll, are you still doing AMVs? OH DUDE, HEY, I WANT TO SEE WHAT YOU DID WITH "HIDE". Since I think/am pretty sure that you mentioned it before.

Holy wow this post is humongous. I'm sorry for making you guys scroll so much. :((( My posts about a year and a half ago were this big. TIME WARPPPP.
Also uh, today was my last day of school. I have an exam on the 19th, and one on the 25th, both of which are like AAAAGES away so guess who's gonna have tons of time to play around? Yosh. Guess that's a part of why I'm so full of squee. :D
