Mong Kok is just as awesome as it was the last time I came back. That gross billboard with the horribly graphic pictures of organ harvesting by the Falun Gong is still there. And Blythes are taking over the whole damn place, seriously. Blythes and Pullips-- I was very tempted to get one but decided against it 'cause a) price and b) they're actually, really kinda creepy if you stare at them long enough. 'Sides, they're not ball-jointed, so they're not as nifty. It was so nice getting to lounge around and leave the house at 3pm, knowing that stuff closes at 9 (as opposed to 5). I'll definitely be going again someday soon -- probably not this week, since I probably need to stop arseing around and get down to revising this driving rulebook thing -- but yeah. Someday. I wanna ogle all the anime things again, and cutesy Japanese shit, and funny shirts and... stuff, yeah. I feel like a right twat for not realizing that these thin books that I've been seeing for years aren't crappy fanthings printed by the shop-- they're doujinshi. Not nice, thick anthologies like you get in Japan, but they're doujinshi nonetheless. I saw a Sephiroth/Cloud one by Kiki-- was tempted to get it, but it was pricey, really thin, and the pairing isn't really my cuppa-- especially not when Kiki does it; it's way pretty, but it's always with the RAEEEEP). Most of the doujinshi I saw today was D.Gray-man, which actually has me tempted to start reading D.Gray, haha.

I picked up Saiyuki Reload vol.8 (kinda sad that ComicsWorld dropped translation/publishing; the other company's covers are hideous by comparison) and Blood+ vol.3. Which I can actually read, as opposed to... uh... the downloaded Japanese version I have on my computer. Oh my gosh, Carl. Poor Carl. Poor babeh. ;__; And man, I see why they de-aged Carl now. The scene with Riku's 'death' is so... so very... slashy. XD Oh Carl, you cry so prettily, you lovely, tortured little emo vampire boy.

... Random tangent (because I'm blogging and enrolling for courses at the same time): I'll be doing English, Japanese and Chinese next year. Just those three. I actually find this horribly amusing seeing as how I'm reasonably decent at everything except for languages. It's my Achilles heel-- even the English language (as opposed to literature, as I am the queen of Making-Up-Bullshit) trips me up. Ah well. It'll be fun to see what happens. ♥

cherry2909, have you changed your cell phone number? I tried calling you twice today to see if/when you're free. D'you wanna go out for lunch sometime? I'd offer to make lunch for you at my house seeing as how it's closer and you can... slump down and take a nap or whatever, but seeing as how I'm only just starting to learn how to cook, I'm afraid that I'd accidentally give you explosive diarrhea. >.>

edit: Okay. Okay, what the hell.

So first it was I.R.I.S. OCR Registration (which refuses to be deleted-- but at least I figured out that it has something to do with my printer, so that's okay). And now it's pop-ups about enrolment in the University of Phoenix?

My computer is trying to kill me.
