Oh my gosh,
ryotakishu, remember how I was saying before that they sell dollfie things in HK? I went to my favorite manga shop in MK today and it was closed and gone, and in its place was a shop that sells all kinds of figurines and stuff. There wasn't a lot of dollfie stuff, but they sold 1/6 Obitsu models. XD I am so chuffed, man. I was so "meh" about having to buy it online 'cause, like, I really don't trust online stuff, so seeing Obitsu stuff all over MK was awesome. I got a 27cm Volks, and I'm dead pleased with her, and love her muchly, and like, I'm just hunting all over the place now to try and learn how to do face-ups and fix her hair. I'm thinking of going back to the shop and buying more wigs so I can mess with hairstyles and stuff-- and I'm sure there were other shops too, but I was really tired by the time I got to the shop where I got my Tori. Oh man, I was just on eBay and it's freakin' TAUNTING me with Mimiwoo's shop, 'cause guess where she's based? In Hong Kong. Meaning she's totally all the cool wigs and crap from Hong Kong, and I have yet to find exactly which shop it is that she's getting stuff from. I'm gonna keep going to MK and to all the trinket shops until I find a decent wig for Tori, 'cause honestly, I don't trust myself to cut her hair. And although it's pretty cute right now, it's also pretty poofy. It puffs out from her head like a shroom, and not in a cute way since her hair is long. Plus, her face is really plain without a face-up. She doesn't even have eyebrows yet 'cause I don't dare draw them on. :\
They were also selling Pullip dolls that were dressed up like Suiseiseki and Souseiseki of Rozen Maiden. I adore Souseiseki to bits, but um, seeing her as a Pullip doll is really kinda terrifying considering that she doesn't have canonly humongous eyes. DX
Lunch... Alice and I had sushi for lunch. So yummy. ♥ She dumped me to go to the gym, so I went to MK and yadda yadda dollfies, but I also managed to snag a Blood+ music disk along with a DVD, so I'll be popping that in and watching it later, and if it's good, I'll go back and get the other Blood+ music CDs. I also found tons of Japanese-style trinket shops, and lots of shops selling anime-related stuff, and gah, heaven. :] The humidity was a little weird; I never actually registered how dry Melbourne is by comparison until I went out today and was like, "Oh. Oh yeah. I remember this. I remember feeling perpetually moisturized."
I'm pretty tired from walking around and dinner and helping my mom revise for her exams, but I'm kinda just trying not to sleep much anymore, 'cause it's a flippin' waste of time and I have too much to do here that I can't possibly get done in Australia. Mm, and I'm supposed to be meeting Melanie tomorrow for lunch-- don't know if Suzanne's coming with. (Suzanne? :O You comin' or what?)
Mrr. Also, I got my favorite damn mercenary of all time ever back.
Mmhmm. ♥
(People who read that crappy webcomic I was drawing when I was, like, fourteen: yes. Camille. Camilleon. Shut up; I liked the name 'Camille' way before Emile Zola came along and effed it up for me.)
edit: OMG.
THUNDERSTORM.
FREAKIN' YESSS.
