A Variety of Story Ideas.
I plan on seriously pursuing the writing of a variety of stories, both original and fan fiction. I need your help deciding on which ones I should work on. They are as follows:
Fan Fictions:
Metroid: Project 'R' Omega Aries - Metroid Fan Fiction set several decades prior to the classic Metroid game, cataloging the Space Pirate's dramatic appearance on the grander stage of the Galaxy during a well planned and executed raid on a massive scale. Notable characters include what would later become the parents of Samus Aran, Rodney and Virginia Aran, as well as future Space Pirate generals Weavel and Ridley... along with a few original characters.
Magic: the Gathering, Mists of the Blind Eternities - A story taking place within the constraints of the M:tG universes realm of possibilities. A war in ancient times brought armies of opposing Demons and Angels to an otherwise forgotten world. When the battles had ceased, and the war came to an end, the opposing powers now stranded on this world settled on a strenuous peace. In the present, the peace holds still. The story emphasizes that though certain M:tG Colors have a natural disposition towards good or evil, they are not strictly bound to these dispositions.
Original Stories:
Legacies of the Shadows: Legend tells of other worlds that exist dominated by a single element. In the world where the light of day reigns unchallenged, a darkness creeps in with the intent of changing everything.
Karmic Sidestep - A story of a young man whom in mischief awakened a karmic spirit that now curses him to misfortune every time he visits it upon others until the spirit witnesses that he has committed 10 more good deeds than misdeeds. The Spirit itself could not have foreseen his rather unique retaliation as he continues his mischievous deeds undaunted... no, inspired rather by the challenge the curse provides.
Crimson Horizon - World War III has broken out and no corner is left untouched. In the midst of it, a handful investigate the true causes of this war that leaves only more bloodshed in the foreseeable future.
While I do plan to do a Legend of Dragoon story, I will be working largely on a set of ideas I had worked with Jen on back during the days of LoD-Squared. I feel it only appropriate that if I should continue working on it, that it continue to be a collaborative project.
