I can't believe it!!!! I'll see a game, no wait, TWO games, of the Handball World Cup 2007 here in Germany!!!!! I'm sooooo happy! I just ordered two tickets for my Dad and me. It will be his birthday present. Ok, his birthday is in June so it's quite some time until he gets his ticket. And he doesn't have a clue. Can't wait to see the expression on his face *lol*.
We talked about going to the World Cup for a few years now, we always said that we will go and see a game if it will take place here. And we got lucky!
So I talked to my Mom a few minutes ago on the phone about what we will give my Dad for his birthday. He'll become 60 this year so it had to be something very special. And while we were talking I remembered the World Cup. So I said to my Mom that I will check out the prices and where the games will take place. The game we will be visiting now takes place in Dortmund, not far from where I live. And it's a Saturday. And the best thing... If the German team will get through the preliminary round we will see them! The tickets are for the whole day, so two games in total, and with a little luck we will see the German team in one game! I still can't believe it.
For what I can see from the seating plan the places are quite good, not directly at the sideline but not that far away. One ticket is 60€ and because 120€ (for both tickets) would be too much for me my Mom said that I will get my ticket as a birthday present, too!
I called my best friend directly after I ordered the tickets, because I needed to tell someone. Normally I call my Dad when something happened but that wouldn't be a good idea in this case *lol*.
Ok, I try to calm down now. Won't work but at least I can try.
