My new mystery
Hi, I'm new to LiveJournal, and I'm so pleased to find communities of mystery fans here. Please pardon the self-promotion, but I'm taking this opportunity to cross-post a little announcement from my own journal. I have a new mystery coming out!
Glorious, spectacular weather has graced the Washington, D.C., area for the past couple of days, leaving many of us wondering what poor suckers got our usual weather by mistake. We really don't care, they can have our usual Washington heat and humidity. Just as long as the lovely dry sunshine and balmy mid-70s temperatures stick around for a while. The weather seems like a good omen for a wonderful summer. And in addition to the beautiful days, I have another reason to be basking in sunshine: My fifth Crime of Fashion Mystery, GRAVE APPAREL, will be on sale in bookstores tomorrow, July 3rd!
I'll be signing copies of my new book this Saturday, July 7, at the beautiful new Mystery Loves Company bookstore in Oxford, Maryland, from 2 to 4 p.m. Mystery Loves Company is owned and operated by Kathy and Tom Harig, who this year won the Mystery Writers of America Raven Award, given for "outstanding achievement in the mystery field outside the realm of creative writing." Mystery bookstores often take home this award, and Mystery Loves Company is among the very best. They really know how to make a writer (and a mystery reader) feel at home. Stop by if you're in the area, I'd love to see you!
