Beginners guide!

*First off you need to apply here

*When you get the answer to your application (I try to check often, but please don't be impatient if you have to wait a little while for it) you'll get a invite to your new team community and this community. You have to accept this! You can check you invites here.

*Please keep in mind that this community only works if the members are active! This does not mean that you have to enter every challenge. But if you don't enter one challenge every two weeks I will send you a message. Then you have four days to either enter a challenge or reply to me. If you don't I will remove you from the community. You are of course welcome to join again when you feel like coming back!

*Please let me know if you want to take a hiatus or is going on holiday, or change your username here. That way you wont get cut while you are away :)

*We have a social community here: crimeroundtable, you don't HAVE to join it, everything important is posted to this community. But it is for interacting with the other members and it is fun! Everyone have posting access there, so feel free to post there about anything you want to talk to the other members about! We are also in the middle of a rewatch there, and that's really fun!

*Now you can start entering the challenges! All challenges will be posted in crimeland. All open challenges will be linked in the sidebar.

*The challenges can be almost anything, ranging from grapichs, writing, trivia, word games, thinking games and just plain luck. Now you're maybe thinking "Oh no, I don't know how to make grapichs" or "I can't write at all" but don't worry! In almost any challenge there will be participation points, and I have seen in other communities that it is the participation that counts, not winning them all!

*You can find a guide to our challenges here. But there are special rules on each challenge so read the entries carefully!

*Points will be updated after each challenge closes. The point totals will always be in the sidebar.

*The comments in challenges will almost always be screened and you can't discuss the answers with the other members unless I say so.

*I do encourage post about challenges in the team communities though. You can talk about what challenges you have entered and clues on how to. Everyone have posting access there and it really helps the team if they have an active team community. Every Team have a leader and they will organize everything there. If you have any questions about the team ask your respective Team Leader, they are always ready to help!

The Team Leaders:
Team Reid: mierke
Team JJ: seabiscuit
Team Morgan: ms_creant
Team Garcia: seraphina_snape and pumpkin_pixi

*When you are a new member you should post an introduction post in your team community so everyone can get to know you! Most of the teams their own post about that.

*You can also introduce yourself in this post in crimeroundtable for the rest of the community.

*As the game goes on every team will gather points and at the end of a 'case' the team with the most points will win glory, honor and a nifty banner. Then all the points will be gone and we start again :) The current Case-info will be in the sidebar.

*I will post a news post on every Tuesday and Friday. It will contain all open challenges, new members, points updates and other community news.

*Please let me know if there are any mistakes or things that are unclear.

*If you have any questions ask them here or in a response to any of my posts.

*If anything in this post that is unclear or there is anything you miss, please comment here!
