Author’s Notes: When I got this one, I realized I only had one option I could write, which was the Calleigh/Abby friendship request. And I wracked my brains for 2 months trying to figure out an idea where these two women would be friends. Finally, I decided on them meeting at some sort of women in forensics convention. And I've always found the whole saga with Abby and Marty fascinating. Then everything just…clicked. And here we are.
The IM aspect really made me giggle. And I had the most fun figuring out their IM handles. Especially Abby's. Calleigh's was a play on her nickname in canon.
I admit I couldn't help but put in the slightest hints of femslashy goodness. But you kinda have to look for them…unless you know me. *g*
