It's about those oversized cats. They're from my world. I just remembered some stuff about them.

Well, for starters, there are two kinds of people in my world -- the beorc and the laguz. I'm a beorc -- pretty much like just about anyone else here. The laguz, though, can turn into animals.

Those cats? Those were Feral Ones. They were once laguz, but...some madman used a drug on them. He locked them in animal form, drove them mad, and cut their lifespans to a matter of days.

Maybe. I don't know. But if nothing works, then to be honest... We're doing them a favor by ending their misery.

I don't know who was directly responsible. But whoever he was, he came from a country that hated laguz. The kingdom of Daein went so far as to have their schoolchildren participate in regular laguz hunts.
