Of all the possible memories out there, I hadn't expected to remember something so intimate as a first. And at a time where others seem to be recalling the same . . .

All I can tell you is that one thing has not changed. I will do whatever I'm able to do for your sake and protection. It was that way when I was just a mercenary that you hired. Becoming your husband does not change that one bit.
