Huh. I wasn't expecting that. Talk about your pleasant surprises...
Well, looks like I've been given a promotion. So I'm now a town guard. I guess the chief thought I was one of the better patrolmen or something, I don't know. If so, he sees something in me that I missed.
But I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. I took the promotion, and I intend to show that I was worthy of this.
