Drawering is hard!

It's funny how much I actually don't care if people think my webcomic sucks. I've always been down on my own artistic ability, but as I do more strips, I think I'm improving rapidly, and I think I wasn't really all that bad to begin with.

I enjoy drawing the T-rex (inspired by my brother), and I'm having fun thinking of ways to make the strip visually interesting. I can't draw people, though... faces, specifically. Something I have to work on.

The next comic has a bit of spot coloring, and I want to experiment further with color later down the road. Although using anything other than official Post-It colors seems a little like cheating. As I clean up the comics (removing ink smudges, specifically), I'm learning more about Photoshop and getting familiar with it, which is the underlying goal for the webcomic. I'm using this to sharpen my graphic skills for the game stuff. I need to buy Photoshop for Dummies. And it's giving me excuses to try new stuff with Illustrator, too, so I can get more familiar with that, too.

My comic got 20 views! Yay! More than I expected. The first strip sucks, but the rest get better pretty quickly. I need to whip up a title/credits bar for the top of the strip.

This is fun... hopefully I can keep this up past strip #5.
