For me (as I’m sure many others), Ebay creates quite a rollercoaster of emotions. Lately I’ve been found spending a lot of my non-working time searching ebay for different gear for ‘the job’.

What inedibility baffles me are the ‘ebayers’ that will bid on 7 or more auctions for the same thing with 5 more days to go! At first I thought maybe they are just newbies who are overzealous in winning that new widget. But with average feedback rating being at least +60 positives they are not total novices. Maybe there are some goofballs who help other sellers by inflating the price early on so shmucks like me are forced to pay near store prices. But, I could be way off bases, hasn’t been the first time ^__~.

Anywho, it irks me to see individuals juggling multiple auctions who probably do not intend to buy 9 pairs of handcuffs but that makes me think “maybe they should”... To feed my hunger for mischievous behavior at the expense of others I’ve been playing a little Russian ebay roulette. The game involves bidding against the repeating goofballs’ items and pushing the maximum bids just high enough to make the item cost equal to or more than the same item new after factoring S&H. I know this is pretty shiesty but maybe it will be a learning experience to not go bid-crazy. So far I’ve been able to push 4 auction item’s worth around the cost of new for this guy and there are a few more to go. Maybe if I’m lucky I’ll win one for a change :-P If nothing else I’m sure the sellers are thrilled for stuff like this.
