Outer Banks: J.J. Observation
I have NO IDEA if anyone who knows either of these shows will see this, but what the heck.
So I watched most of Outer Banks last summer but never finished. Not for lack of interest, but that was when “ozmissage” and I were watching all those shows every week as a part of our quarantine “tv club” and it’s pretty plot heavy and requires more attention than I can give it.
This past week I rewatched it all so I could finish it and I’m struck with how J.J. is BASICALLY a much more edgy Pacey Witter. (Dawson’s Creek.) And I feel like it’s no accident that he’s called J.J. (Joshua Jackson… hello?) I’m almost done with the final ep of season 1 which is why I’m up so late. Season 2 comes out this week, so I wanted to catch up before Friday.
