In which I watch way too much TV.

I started Playing House on USA before I moved and haven't had a chance to finish it. I'm definitely going to finish it as soon as possible. LOVED IT.

Just this week I started The Mindy Project on Hulu and I completely adore it. So good! I already posted about this once today. Definitely means I'm into it.

I actually really enjoyed Blood and Oil. ( Read more... )

We don't have a DVR (I'm not even sure if my cable company offers the service), so I'm always a bit jealous of how people can use one and watch shows later. Then again, most of the time there's hardly anything decent to watch ;)

I'm not watching that much tv. Not that many good shows make it here and I'm too lazy to *cough* let shows magically appear in my computer unless I'm 100% certain they're worth the time and effort. iZombie sounds fun, for example, but it's not on. Same for Mr. Robot. Unfortunately, this doesn't mean I'm getting more things done.

I was really spoiled with the DVR. Being able to pause (and rewind) live TV is one of the best perks.

Sorry to hear you don't get the good shows. Honestly, the harder it is to track down a show, the less likely I am to watch it. Just don't have the time anymore!

I'm not sure I'd consider myself excited, but I do look forward to new TVD. :D

So far, I'm liking Quantico. The narrative structure is interesting.

When you say "narrative structure" it makes me think that it's flashback heavy. I'm hoping this isn't the case - ever since lost I've hated the flashback format. Either way, I need to check this out this week because it's already 3 eps in.

It's told in two timelines.

I like Blood & Oil so far, too! I can see the comparisons to both Dallas and Revenge.

I will still be watching TVD! I've been losing interest a little but it takes a lot for me to give up on shows, especially shows I've watched for a long time.

I think I was losing interest a season ago, but the most recent season (this past season) has renewed my love for the show.

Too much tv, too little time!

I've started watching Quantico and Blindspot. Also, Person of Interest on Netflix. I binged on the first season of Madam Secretary and I don't know how I'm going to watch the second season. I don't think it's on Hulu. I'm waiting for the third season of Orphan Black to come to Amazon Prime. Oh, and I'm watching Grey's Anatomy and Doctor Who! And I'll watch Orange is the New Black when the new season is on Netflix. :D

We talked about this last night, haha. I googled it and realized that I had the wrong show in mind when I was talking about the husband being kidnapped. It was something called Hostages with Toni Colette as a surgeon who is about to operate on the POTUS.

Nope, I would never have guessed that show!

I've stuck with TVD for this long, I might as well give the new season a try ;)

I almost NEVER quit shows, and in some cases I think it's problem if I have less interest. I feel like there is so much other stuff I could be watching (Mr Robot among others), but so little tiiiiiime!

It seems ridiculous but I am really enjoying it. I think the show has always had such an extensive ensemble that I'm guaranteed to be interested in at least one of the storylines and that's what keeps me watching. I think that's the reason I still watch Grey's Anatomy too, haha. But with TVD, right now at least, I'm into the whole thing, not just one storyline. Thank goodness.
