Sorry, but this occasion requires singing. YOU WROTE ME HOLDER/LINDEN FIC, PERFECT, BANTERY, WONDERFUL HOLDER/LINDEN FIC.

The way they're both so protective of each other here made my squee so freaking much. Then you went and added all of my kinks from the thunderstorm to the sleeping arrangements to Holder wearing Rick's clothes (I have no idea why the image of Linden stripping her ex-boyfriend's pants off Holder thrills me so much, but it totally does). This felt like an actual thing that could happen, it had this gritty, truthful feeling that was so them. Because of course nothing between them would be flowery, it would be just like this, which is to say flawless and complicated and then immediately back to business once it was over. UGH, DUDE, THIS FIC COMPLETES ME.
