Probably Kelly Kapowski and Zack Morris, but only in the way that I was fully aware that I liked Zack with her better than Slater even though they were both pretty much jerks. I'm not sure that counts. And there are so many that don't. Kevin Arnold and Winnie Cooper, Angela Chase and Jordan Catalano, Ross and Rachel, Romeo + Juliet, Mary Anne and Logan, Ariel and Eric, Lady and the Tramp, Barbie and Ken, Holly and Paul, Lizzie and Gordo, Daria and Trent! I guess the first ship that I ever really ship-shipped, as in wrote-fic-participated-in-fandom-shipped was probably Joey and Pacey from Dawson's Creek. Damn, they're coming up a lot lately. I wanna say Kara and Lee, from Battlestar even though I wasn't all that invested in them in the end. They had a lot of baggage. For some reason though it felt "invented." It was just a case of them denying their own inevitability for whatever reason. So, my official answer is gonna have to be Cate and Baze from Life Unexpected for obvious reasons. They have this kid that they've never known that ties them together and she can't forgive him for everything back in the day, etc. etc.
Day 09 - The most believable relationship?
Everyone is going to think I'm weird for saying this, but Dan and Roseanne Conner from Roseanne. Re-watching the show every now and then when I flip past a re-run it really does feel like a real family, plus some added comedy. A lot of sitcoms have tried to emulate this style but none have done it quite as convincingly -- or even close to it if you ask me.
On the flip-side of that, in a more functional household, I'd say Tami and Eric Taylor from Friday Night Lights.
Day 10 - Why aren’t these two married in real life?
I don't know. Viggo and Orlando? I have no idea. I don't really follow stuff like that so I don't know the people who pal around enough and/or work together and have great off-screen chemistry. I fail as a fan that way I suppose.

In a canon sense, I always wanted Michael and Brian from Queer as Folk to get together.

Had soft spot for them way back in season one. Obviously they were in deep denial. It took them three years to get together:

Ned and Chuck? Schroeder and the piano? Harold and Maude? Hahaha. I have not a clue. In terms of TV shows I usually go where the storyline takes me and if they do introduce other love interests I end up seeing something to like about each of the pairings. So I'm not really a tried and true fan of any one pairing. It's why I don't really do OTPs and I tend to multi-ship. To "root for since the beginning" sort of suggests that I've never rooted for anything else. And yet I do, so I have no real answer for this question. Except maybe Ned and Chuck, like I said.

Oh there are too many! Two of note would bout Juliet/Sawyer and Claire/Charlie from Lost. Also Paul/Echo from Dollhouse but I think everyone understands that! Haha.
I have this whole thing with Sawyer & Juliet and I'll C&P from what I said at prettybutt's journal today:
If I were to pick a "worst ship ever" I think it might be "James"/Juliet from Lost. I think in the end it felt like that was the most beloved ship in that entire show, so I'm really pissing people off with that one. Their romance rang so completely false for me. I never bought for a second that they were ever in a relationship, let alone that they cared for each other. Even when they were holding on for dear life and then reuniting in the afterlife. It just felt so fake. I kind of wish Sawyer had ended up alone instead of pairing him with Juliet just cause she was there. Which if you think about it, is kind of what they did. [For both of them.] I really had grown to love his character so much by season four and felt he was irreparably ruined by what they did to him in season 5 and I partly, or mostly, blame that relationship for his character assassination.
Day 23 - A crazy love triangle/quadrilateral that worked out great?
I think the best love triangle that I've ever seen, that I can currently remember, was in the movie A Walk on the Moon with Diane Lane, Viggo Mortensen, & Liev Schreiber.
Second best love triangle would have to be Russell, Penny, and William from Almost Famous. In the end she sends Russell to William's house because William still never got his interview and it's their friendship that is the one that needs to be reconciled. Perfection.

This is tough. Mostly if I hate a pairing it's for a "Very Good Reason" and I'm hard-pressed to change my mind. Usually it's more like "a pairing I never imagined I would end up loving." I'm changing this whole question:

That's stuff like Alpha/Echo, Topher/Priya [both from Dollhouse], Baltar/Caprica [BSG], Locke/Helen [Lost], Hale/Tara [Sons of Anarchy], Wesley/Lilah [Angel], and Olivia/Charlie [Fringe], etc.

Again hate is not the right word. More like, lost interest? I find myself not that interested in Peter/Olivia in Fringe anymore. I do like watching them in canon but I think they've handled that relationship in a way that sort of bores me. There's no excitement anymore! I would say similar truths have happened with Lee/Kara from BSG and various other couples.
Day 28 - A pairing that you will never understand?
Justin and Brian from Queer as folk. Justin bugged the crap out of me until the later seasons and even then I still didn't love him. It seemed like Brian ended up in this relationship with him simply because he was a pest that wouldn't go away. [Among other things, like guilt after the attack.] But yeah, I never really saw it, I didn't think they had the greatest chemistry and more than that they just weren't any fun to watch for me. If your better half makes a guy like Brian fucking Kinney seem dull, then something is wrong, dammit.
Day 29 - What ship had the best proposal?
Haven't watched this show in forever but I always loved the way this whole thing was done, the fact that you can barely hear them and that they're so far away and just how spontaneous it seems. Perfect.
