I can't even tell you how amazing this fic is dude, seriously, it blows me away how perfect ever freaking line is. I would copy and paste my favorites back to you but I'd end up just copying it all!
The way you describe each character is spot on, each section it's just like YES that IS Tim or that IS Tyra! It's amazing.
And I looove that someone starts the 'Clear eyes, full hearts' chant at the funeral, it's so fitting. All of them back there, what he meant to all of them, it's almost like that's the only thing to do!
As much as it would kill me I think this is exactly how I want this show to end too. Cuz you know when those people leave, Dillon and the show really will not be the same!
Anyway, this is probably one of my favorite fics of yours like ever, it's gorgeous :)

At first I had no idea what I was going to do with this and cursed myself for saying I would write this fandom. I think my logic was "what fandoms do I know enough about" to write. Rather than "what fandoms am I comfortable enough with" to write. Which was a mistake but it turned out okay.
Once I got into it, it was really great to write. I don't know that I could write more of this fandom. Especially within the constraints of the current show timeline. For some reason that's intimidating to me.
We'll see!

Sorry for the tears.

I can't imagine Dillon without Mr. Coach. It seems fitting that the town isn't what it used to be now that he is gone. He's the heart of the place, the heart of everything they held dear and he was at the heart of every single person in that town.
Love it.

He really is the heart of that place, I agree.
