I'm a sucker for all three of them off the island, together like this, and you are always so good at that. The piecey kind of structure of this is just gorgeous and...just wow, KC, this is seriously some kind of gem that I wasn't expecting to get at all.
(She wants to see him in the sun, the way she remembers him best.)
I love that whole entire opening -- you like traveling fics, well, so do I. The setting of this is just so very outside of the show that it works so well, especially with this pairing. It just seems natural. But I especially love that line -- most of the stuff you stick in parantheses are either totally beautiful or gut punches.
She'll stay here. He's her brother. He'll take care of her.You know, I always have the urge to skim over that fact -- that they're related, just because it feels like it would make it more awkward. It actually makes it make more sense somehow. Jack takes care of everyone, he does, but family does change things. The people who can't kick you out ( ... )

But yay! My fears are quelled now. I am so glad you liked this so much. And yeah, I do like road fics, fics that take them away. Somewhere else. To just... be. I don't know why but they're my favorite kind. Hehe.
Anyway, you are MORE than welcome for this. I was so thrilled to be assigned to you. I'm not sure how well it fit your theme (what a tangled web we weave) but I tried, hehe.

I love the part in the bookstore with Jack missing Sawyer, breaks my heart!
I love that when he and Claire finally hook up it's like they knew it would happen, that they've just been waiting for it. And all the emotion in that section is just awesome.
I LOVE when Sawyer comes back *clutches heart* omg so wonderful, totally my favorite part of this whole thing, that and the car ride back home is just so perfect. And this line especially:
(And yet not at all surprised, they always were following in each other's footsteps.)
Aww!
And I love the whole rest of the fic! Them all trying to figure out how they work together and it's amazing! I didn't want it to end! You rock.

I'm not sure where half of this came from. Crazy random brainstorming lol. Thank you for helping me out last night too, just by being there.
I never want it to end either lol, except I totally do cause if it doesn't that means I have to keep writing, lol.

twisted, perfect and complicated
I think those three words perfectly describe this pairing.
Thank you hon!

Until then, there are your fics! You haven't lost your touch at all. No one writes them quite like you. :-)

I don't know why I like road fics so much. I think it's because they aren't tied down, can do anything, be anything. It's fun to play with the different possibilities. And I like the idea of them on the outskirts of society, there, but not really.
I agree, the combination is... very fun to play with. The different kinds of relationships all smushed into one, the layers of it. I think that may be the reason I like to write them!
Hehe, thank you so much! I'm glad I haven't lost my touch. I was worried about that!
