OH MY GOD I FUCKIN' LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!!!!

I'm a sucker for all three of them off the island, together like this, and you are always so good at that. The piecey kind of structure of this is just gorgeous and...just wow, KC, this is seriously some kind of gem that I wasn't expecting to get at all.

(She wants to see him in the sun, the way she remembers him best.)

I love that whole entire opening -- you like traveling fics, well, so do I. The setting of this is just so very outside of the show that it works so well, especially with this pairing. It just seems natural. But I especially love that line -- most of the stuff you stick in parantheses are either totally beautiful or gut punches.

She'll stay here. He's her brother. He'll take care of her.You know, I always have the urge to skim over that fact -- that they're related, just because it feels like it would make it more awkward. It actually makes it make more sense somehow. Jack takes care of everyone, he does, but family does change things. The people who can't kick you out ( ... )

You have no idea how thrilled I am that this worked for you. I don't know, I always feel like so much time goes by between writing them that I feel all rusty and out of practice when I do.

But yay! My fears are quelled now. I am so glad you liked this so much. And yeah, I do like road fics, fics that take them away. Somewhere else. To just... be. I don't know why but they're my favorite kind. Hehe.

Anyway, you are MORE than welcome for this. I was so thrilled to be assigned to you. I'm not sure how well it fit your theme (what a tangled web we weave) but I tried, hehe.

Oh dude this is SO perfect! I love it! You wanna know what I love? Good, cuz I'm gonna tell you!
I love the part in the bookstore with Jack missing Sawyer, breaks my heart!
I love that when he and Claire finally hook up it's like they knew it would happen, that they've just been waiting for it. And all the emotion in that section is just awesome.
I LOVE when Sawyer comes back *clutches heart* omg so wonderful, totally my favorite part of this whole thing, that and the car ride back home is just so perfect. And this line especially:
(And yet not at all surprised, they always were following in each other's footsteps.)
Aww!
And I love the whole rest of the fic! Them all trying to figure out how they work together and it's amazing! I didn't want it to end! You rock.

Aw, thank you Dayl!

I'm not sure where half of this came from. Crazy random brainstorming lol. Thank you for helping me out last night too, just by being there.

I never want it to end either lol, except I totally do cause if it doesn't that means I have to keep writing, lol.

Just... GUH! This was so gorgeous. I think if I tried to quote back all the parts of this that I liked, that will end up sticking with me, it'd end up being the whole story so I won't try. But this? Was lovely. In a totally twisted, perfect, complicated, nuanced way.

You have totally led me over to the Jawyercita side! I enjoy this and you are so good at writing them on the road. And just the best part of threesomes are the myriad of relationships: Jack/Claire, Jack/Sawyer, Sawyer/Claire. Leader/follower, brother/sister, doctor/patient, brother/brother, I could go on. It's all so wonderfully complicated, but sweet and messy and hard and sad too. If only the true Lost could be this interesting.

Until then, there are your fics! You haven't lost your touch at all. No one writes them quite like you. :-)

Oh yay!

I don't know why I like road fics so much. I think it's because they aren't tied down, can do anything, be anything. It's fun to play with the different possibilities. And I like the idea of them on the outskirts of society, there, but not really.

I agree, the combination is... very fun to play with. The different kinds of relationships all smushed into one, the layers of it. I think that may be the reason I like to write them!

Hehe, thank you so much! I'm glad I haven't lost my touch. I was worried about that!

I had to read this, even though it's not my usual sort of thing, because the title is from a song that I absolutely love, so I could not resist.

And of course I loved this. How could I not? It's beautiful. :)
