circles and screamo bands
so yeah i went and tried out for a screamo band .. i dragged Shaina (of course), j.v. and ray along... we go all the way to san leadro so i can try out.. my car overheats somewhere along the way.. but its cool cause it doesnt get stupid hot just a little toasty... anyway we get to san leandro.. the guys show up in a white band van... im like cool, awesome stuff, anyway so i walk up to the window and see this hella old man and im like ok wtf?? but then i notice the guy next to him can't be a day over 15... BIG RED FLASHING LIGHT #1... ok im like whatever i'll give it a shot...i go and audition.. they have a cool set up and all.. but everyone in the band is like 14 or 15 (no im not kidding.. at all..) so im like whatever.. lets just play.. these guys want me to sing story of the year.. ok i dont know it all that well so whatever i'll try .. but since i dpnt know a lot of story of the year it didnt work to well... so i suggest we play something i know... they counter with lets play our song.. you know the one with no lyrics.. ok lets do it they play a lot of riffs from story of the year and some from blink 182 all mixed in together BIG RED FLASHING LIGHT #2 but it doesnt sound bad... until the solo starts.. and while yes it was kinda impressive .. it wasn't put together well at all... but ok... whatever i still can tcome up with a song that quick so lets try something different.. so they come up with BLINK 182... BIG RED FLASHING LIGHT #3 by now i've all but given up and am just looking for an excuse to leave... so i play along for a minute.. sing som estupid ass blink 182 song acappela(SP??) then find the quickest way out i can... so we leave and cant come up with anything to do so we drive in circles for like an hour just talking and making stupid noises and faces.. and jokes ... anyway... after getting lost on the way back from san leandro after auditioning for the youngest and poppiest screamo band on the planet (and blowing it)it was a relief... then i drop Shaina off.. (much to my dismay) and head home... and along the way we just start singing random songs(mostly sublime) but had a good time doing it... anyway so we get home and we're outside smoking and laughing about the nights occurances,, when some creepy old man walks up behind us and bums a cigarette from j.v. and then just asks us all these weird ass questions that lead up to the inevitable "so do you guys have any other smoke-ables??" J.V. and ray had something and debated whether or not to go smoke.. i catch a weird vibe and decide against it.. besides i dont smoke anymore anyway but i definatley wasn't gonna join this old freak especially not this close to my house... so i come in and crash.. what j.v. and ray did i don't know for sure... anyway im tired and want sleep so g'night all...
