Year In Review and Summer Preview

Year in Review:
All my teachers love me except for my English teacher/ debate coach. According to him, the team "suffers due to my excessive involvement with history, math, spanish, and science and not debate."

I did a science fair project for extra credit. I ended up getting a plaque, two shiny medals, and $1400 dollars. But that was for first place in school, LA County, and the state.

I have not yet received a B.

I managed not to mutate myself with power tools in Tech Theater.

My AP test scores are going to be crap because I did not study.

Graduation was sad because all my senior friends are leaving. It was nice and short though. The speeches were ok but the valedictorian’s speech was not up to par. (Major controversy over who should be valedictorian.)I had to participate as an "honor guard" which consisted of basically standing there and doing nothing. On the positive side, I did hear our uptight assistant principal who gives ISS like tomorrow crack a few decent jokes. Trilo's name came up a couple of times

I am still obsessed with Colin Firth and fanfic. (P&P3 comes out two days before my birthday!)

I miss SB.

I am not going to Northwestern

Summer Preview:

I have spent the last week and a half going to school just so that the school can get money for me being there. My finals ended two weeks ago when all the senior finals did. But alas, I was stuck being a junior while my fellow compañeros went out and partied like there was no tomorrow. I still got their senioritis though. Anyways, after my finals were over, I realized how hard I actually work because I had nothing to do and it felt so weird. I proceeded to watch the OC to fill the time. But alas my vacation is over before it starts. I have a government class beginning Monday. I'm also working at the Keck Graduate Institute of Biotechnology. Today I had to spend five hours there listening to proposal presentations and professors arguing over methods in computational biology. Monday I begin with the exciting world of EXPAR and PCR. Why do I feel like I am not going to have a summer vacation this summer?
