It is that time of year again. Time to move.
I've moved every summer since 2002 when I started college.
We are a couple days from being completely packed. We have a cute 3 bedroom w/ garage townhouse waiting for us in Newton, IA.
Mom and Erika are coming into town Thursday and helping through Moving Day (Saturday). I'm really excited.
My last day with the boys was last Friday. Sad, but relieving. I am ready to be out of the kiddy-world.
The book is going well. We should be finished by the end of this month. It is exhilarating to be working on something that will be published, but the stress of meeting deadlines and ALWAYS having work to do is a bear. But, it will be over soon, and I just have to put my all into it. I'm going to be published!!!! EEK!!
Other than the move, and the book, and Stephen promotion, not much else is going on. Next Tuesday is our 3rd wedding anniversary. We don't have plans, but I am trying to think of something special to do.
Oh yeah. I was sick most of last week, and found out I have sludge in my gall bladder. I have to be on a completely fat-free diet until I can have surgery to get it removed, to avoid another nauseous, fatiguing flair up. By default, I'm losing weight. Me losing lots of weight is really cool...but the diet really sucks. What I would give for a cheese stick or slice of pizza right now.
