Ahhhh! I need to update more frequently/more dispersed so I don't make a gazillion posts at one time!!!!

Anyways, tonight I wanted to go out and do something...different. SO Isaac and I headed out, planning to go to Costco first. Well on the way, we decided that we wanted to go out and do grocery shopping later (tomorrow). We decided to head north and see what adventures could be had.

Well, we both decided we needed to eat dinner immediately...I said nothing fried or too fast-foody...a moment later we both said (in unison) "SUBWAY!". Yeah, weird/creepy couple thing, and nauseatingly cute at the same time. We ended up going to the one on 15th by the safeway in Ballard, and there was a little bit of a line. we figured no biggy, the guy was a little slow but nothing horrible....then the next guy (4 people ahead of us) ordered 4 sandwiches. SO, we looked at each other and I asked if there was another Subway close by (b/c I'm an impatient bitch...J/K, he didn't want to wait either). So, we headed off to Market st. Well, there was NO line, and we got service immediately by a very nice and speedy girl. We decided that we were going to head over to the Chai house across the street since I had never been there and it was "different"....

OMG, I had the best drink. It was a "Chai apple cider drop". It was sooo warm and tasty, and they put a whole cinammon stick in it, which I didn't realize until half way down, so I thought that was cool. We decided to wait for the live singer who was going to perform in an hour (at 8 pm) so we chilled and read The Stranger together (yeah, there is some funny shit in there about Thanksgiving, I suggest everyone go grab a copy...since it is FREE...yay, I love free). The girl was a good singer and keyboard player..her voice sounded a little Alanis Morissette-y, but the music was more laid back. Overall, very relaxing enjoyable event. We are definetly going back in the future- it's really cool b/c they have a differnt performance/sound almost every night.

After that, we decided it was time for some sort of dessert--we didn't know where, so we went driving around on an epic quest, in search of some sort of cafe, or anything other than Denny's :)
I suggested Romio's, since I knew they actually had a dessert menu and would be open. We went towards that general direction, looking for open places along the way...all the cafes up in Greenwood were closed, and only bars/pubs were open (we had decided that if nothing was found prior to ROmio's, that would be our default). End of story-- Romio's has the most amazing Trufflicious cake. sooooooo good.
another nauseating couple occurence: while sitting at the table waiting for our order (which was the same table we had sat at the first time we had been there for a date) we both looked at each other and made the kissy noise at the SAME TIME. I swear, if I wasn't me, I wouldn't want to hear about this couple crap, but it was hella funny/cutesy, so I had to write it down. Also, while Isaac was eating his slice of cake, he gradually made it into the mountain shape from "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"...he then said "This shape means something!!" I laughed really hard, and then was saddened when I realized that I had actually recognized what the hell he was talking about. I mentioned this fact, and ISaac just laughed, reached out and grabbed my hand, saying he was so glad we could be geeky together. How romantic, no???

Stomaches happy, sweet tooth appeased, and ears full of music, we returned home tonight, were Isaac jumped to playing Ratchet and Clank numero dos, and I got on my computer and started emailing and LJ-ing.

Hope everyone is having a good night!!!!
