we were speaking the other evening about colors, and i think it's a good idea to review this. if i am correct, you will prefer: white to orange, or blue to white, or white to blue, depending on the shade, or blue to green, or red to orange.
that said maybe we should meet among white flowers with blue stamens in the orange-red evening, or in the white-blue morning in a green field specked with red-orange flowers. or in the exceptionally cold green-blue evening and hold our white-blue hands together while the wind blows our cheeks into shades of red.
today, in between considering yr voice and how you may hold an umbrella, i read about police horses & the origin of the word raunch. i considered a dark blue jacket with an embroidered letter E over the left chest pocket versus a light blue raincoat versus a well worn black and white-striped cafe racer. then i became more thoughtful of what sized steps you may take, and, following your advice, i drank some water in between some cups of tea.
when the rains come in the next month we may splash around a bit and then listen to the sounds the drops make on the skylight in this room. for now, there are lightbulbs to replace, hair to sweep off the floor, and a kite to tangle.
