stupid Phillies. Who cares about the stupid Phillies except for Boy Meets World and the Fresh Prince. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Boston to make a comeback, but seriously- Rays-Phils is going to be the WORST. WORLD. SERIES. EVER.
Oh snap! I just realized. I had lunch at Phillipes on Saturday. Phillipes!!! That must have jinxed the Dodgers. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!
Oh well. I vow to eat no cheesesteaks until 2009.

So, that dog. After I told you Greg and Chrissy
were going to keep the dog, we got a call that he wasn't working out with their other dog, Brodie. They were going to bring him back to me. But then they didn't come over. The next day Chrissy said that he's been getting better, and Greg's grown more attached to him. So tonight, they came over, and brought him to visit, then we went out to Black Angus.
I'm happy to hear that they are keeping him. I still have no word from his owners. But they were still calling him "the little guy." So over dinner, I insisted that we figure out a name for him. We brainstormed, and after throwing out Casper, Cletus, Wally, Cosmo, Frank, Indiana, Coach, and a few others, we narrowed it down, and the general consensus became Frank. Frankie. Franklin. Frank the Tank. Frank Sinatra. I think it works.

What else? What else? There is going to be a Hale&Doots reunion show this weekend at the Hoag/Stonebreaker wedding in Los Gatos. I'm super psyched. I worked out a 20 minute set that includes 17 classics. We've got surprise guests! I'll be wearing my fancy hat! It's going to kick ass.

Did I tell you I got a Wii? I got a Wii. I had a convo with escozg about if I should get an XBOX 360 or a Wii. He said althought the XBOX is more entertaining in the long run, Wiis are still pretty rare, and if I saw one, to jump on it.
So I was at Target, and I saw one (which NEVER happens). So we got it. I know Amber might enjoy the Wii a bit more than an XBOX, so she was along with it. I have been kicking ass at Wii Tennis and Baseball and Golf. We also bought NES Mario 1, 2 and 3. Amber LOVES those. Now what I need is a few more Wii games (Mario Kart, what else is good?) and definately at least one more Wiimote (controller). I can't do much with just one. I also need to get my hands on an old Game Cube controller (do N-64 ones work the same way?) to play virtual console games other than NES ones. Also, I eventually want to get Rock Band. I was intending to get it for XBOX, but since they have it for Wii, I don't see why I should just get it for Wii. Wii.
