I think that sometimes, when we try too hard to chase what we think is happiness, we miss the point entirely. We just have to let happy moments . . . happen, and be open to experiencing them to the fullest.

Most of what tends to make me happy is, well, people - friends and loved ones do things that make me happy. And I find joy in doing things that make them happy.

But sometimes its just simple, solitary things. Like reading a book. (Or in my case, lots of books.) Or eating something simple and yummy, like strawberries (it's ridiculous how happy I can get over food, ask Josh or maybe Karli, who comes grocery shopping with me and can attest to how ludicrously gleeful I can get over food discoveries).

Ummm . . . wow, maybe I should just go post about things that make me happy, huh? But my point is, hobbies . . . you'll find yours and you'll change them to suit your mood and where you are in life, so don't get too down on yourself!
