this is my first argument paragraph of my next mcdunn paper. expect updates when i get home from watching rice woop up on cc.
The Simpsons is the funniest comedy television show on the air today. It is an animated primetime television series, which follows the exploits of a hapless and semi-dysfunctional nuclear family named the Simpsons. The Simpsons live in the made up town of Springfield, whose various inhabitants add to the comedy, satire and parody of this series. Homer is the lovable oaf of a father that apathetically makes his way through his family life and work at the local nuclear power plant. His sheer stupidity and wacky adventures make him the funniest character on the show. Marge is the overbearing but responsible mother that tries her best to keep her three children in line. Her seemingly calm and laid-back life is littered with high-speed adventures with her freewheeling neighbor. This ex-police officer uses her wit to try to control her oldest and most troublesome child Bart. Bart is the 4th grade underachiever and nemesis to the Springfield Elementary principal. He is always giving his mother a hard time and has ideas of total anarchy. His devious actions and Lisa is the brainy and responsible 8 year old, which puts her in a strange place among the members of this family. Based on a series of small cartoon sketches from the Tracy Ullman show, the Simpsons enjoy many wacky exploits in their hometown and beyond.
