BEST DAY EVER!
yesterday, december 17th 2005 = the best day ever
so in the morning i went to this luncheon for the english kids that I babysit for. There were so many kids, all playing upstairs, so my children were very busy. Mr. Savage was there, so my mom and I talked to him for a while. Twas a nice get-together. So of course the rest of the day I am waiting for the mailman to show up. I was reading cat's cradle for english, and looking up every five minutes to see if the mail had come and I just hadn't heard it. I finished the next section of cat's cradle and decided I needed to check my email of course. I walk downstairs, connect, click a few buttons, and hear the mail come in. I literally run up the stairs. My parents had not gotten the mail because I asked them not to look at it, but they said "I don't think it came". I walk over to the mail and said "You don't think it came? Then how come it's the letter on the top?" It was addressed to me, return address Brandeis University. It was a tiny envelope, very skinny. My parents looked at it before I opened it. I tore the envelope open, unfolded the first flap, and all I saw was Congratulations in bold type. I started jumping up and down and dancing and everything and my parents were like "I think she got in!" I called family and friends and lots of people. Oh man, it was crazy. AND Leor was soooo happy for me, that was one of the best parts.
And the day didn't end there. That night . . . BON JOVI! It was fucking AMAZING. I loved it! So my dinner made me a little sick, but once I got over that, it was the best thing ever! We took loads of pictures that are really funny, especially the metro ones. On the way back, becca, katie, and I squished ourselves into one metro seat, which was tons of fun. We took lots of pictures then. I RAN up the medical center escalator, and I swear I am still a little out of breath. That my friend, was crazy. i am so happy right now. I would have loved to know from my other colleges too, but that's alright.
