this sucks

i was really thinking about flying out to see david before i headed out for new zealand, but all the flight tickets went up today. i'd found some yesterday for $150 and now i can't get anything for less than $200. dammit. what do i do now? would it be worth it? i really don't know. i don't miss him desperately yet, but i have a feeling that i will start to very soon. $200 is a lot of money.

also, my back has decided to fall apart, which is less than thrilling. i'm hoping it's not serious.
