Listening to Dave Matthew's "Christmas Song" right now ... it always makes me feel so calm. I studied for 8 hours at the library today, and by the end I was so exhausted I just came back and listened to christmas music for a while. Then I did my physics homework (LAST ONE of the semester!) and went over to talk to Jenna and Erin, who were also taking a break. Jenna's coxing my 2k tomorrow; I'm a little nervous -- I always fear that awful, gut-wrenching, muscle-tearing feeling I get in the middle -- but I'm trying to think positive. It's only about 7 minutes ... that's not really a long time. Of course, people have died in much shorter time, but I'm not going to think about that! This is what I do for fun! And it has been fun lately ... we had a mini-triathlon yesterday, with erging, running, and swimming, and it was a blast. We did it in teams of three, and I think it brought us together, varsity/novice, everyone. Erin, T, and I were a great team, and we ended up winning! I'm going to miss the team so much when I'm in New Zealand, they're really my family away from home. Speaking of home, I'm going to be there in a week and a half!!! I can't believe it. I can't wait. And I can't study any more tonight so I'm going to bed!
