*wipes tears away* As much as I enjoyed the previous review THIS is what I was waiting for. I just don't know how that much hotness can exist and just not explode (like he seems to make most of the women I know do on a regular basis. Hmm maybe that's his secret superOrlando power...). Anyway, yes he is HAWT and I can't wait to see it.

I can't wait to see your take on it. I'm discovering people either love or hate it...

Ahh. Okay. I'm really not heading over to JW very much anymore... I just don't feel... I don't know... But anyway, I popped over.

I was very impressed by a few things in Orlando's performance. The very beginning scene where he's working in the forge and he's pounding the metal. You can tell that he's so angry and so grief-stricken, so upset, so on the edge of insanity and so fragile, like he's going to break into a thousand pieces if someone looks at him wrong... and he does all that without a word. It was palpable, that feeling.

Also in the seige, I thought he was especially compelling. I really enjoyed his performance all around. I saw Balian as not being a central character until the second half of the movie, essentially. He's more of an observer until he's forced to take action.

I liked it....
