Thank goodness. A brand spankin' new New Pornographers album. "Twin Cinema" it's called. It should be arriving in my mailbox today. Can I tell you how good this thing is, simply based on the three mp3's I've downloaded? It's AMAZING. There's a reason I include the NP's on nearly every mix CD I make. Because there's something special in the sauce. A deep understanding of the reason music is made. The reason kids dance in the rain and play in the sun. We're alive. The air is cool and the apple is sweet. So push your lazy selves, plunk down $10 on a new album, and remember why recess meant so much. It's play-time, and the soundtrack is "Twin Cinema."
