I need a bit of help. I have been trying to find a set of wireless speakers for the computer because the office is off to the side in the house and we can't hear the tunes unless we crank the music up to 11. Honestly, get a stereo. You'll get better sound. My experience with wireless speakers is...they suck. The betteries don't last and the sound has too much interference.

Thanks, I figured as much but it was worth asking. By the way, we've been checking out the photos, Izzy's one good looking kid, can't wait to meet him.

Yo!

I have a switch, that'll alternate between my speakers and my headphones, or whatever I plug into that jack. I just press a button, and it switches. It's a piece of low tech for a few bucks at Radio Shack. Worth the investment.

As to the speakers, you're best bet is either to run wire to a set across the house, or to get some kind of receiver and then an airport card that'll transmit to the stereo. The airport card gives you radio quality - not as good as direct speaker hook up obviously, but if you run the speakers far enough, you'll suffer a bit of loss there as well. I'm a big fan of direct hookup, b/c frankly, it's simple. You can diagnose a problem easier than hooking up a transmitter system.
