Friggin People
I should have known when we had only lived here 2 weeks when we had our first police visit. Evidenly a couple of kids we using our driveway as an egg launching site. Not that I can blame the kids, the people next to us have a true hedge that completly is a pain in the ass for us and if I were a bored kid it is an awesome place to launch eggs into a incrediblty buzy street.
We live in this wierd half world were behind us are 3 million dollar homes and across the street are slum lord apartments. I've known from the day we moved in that things would be odd. The house next door sold for $400,000 but I wake up with a 6 pack of beer bottles in my front lawn. However tonight about 10pm I sat in front of the computer and within minutes someone threw the dog lead against my window. I heard them a minute later going through the gate. I checked with the upstairs tenets and everyone was accounted for, it wasn't them. SO someone was in my backyard tonight and wanted me to know it. I think the thing that scares me the most is that this is an old house and with all the coatings of paint most of the windows will not lock shut. I've put dowels in the ones that won't lock but I am still totally freaked out that someone was in my backyard and waited until I was at my computer to make noise and make sure that I knew they were there. Mofo bastards I hate being scared in my own home.
