Bye Bye Japan

Oct 19, 2004 10:53

Well, we just found out that we aren't going to Japan. Due to cutbacks the billet has been closed. So we are back at square one. And Mike's detailer has something going on that he won't even be able to start searching for us until next week. This guy is the slowest bastard ever so who knows when we will know. Barhain is still open, suprise, so I'm thinking it's going to be that. But I have my fingers crossed that it will be somewhere that Mike and I can be together.

In other news, I don't have to worry about the funky mole that popped up on my back. Turns out to be a sign of skin damage and usually only seen on old people. (love my doc!) Basically she told me "You should never go out in the sun, ever!" But at least for now, no worries. So I used to stock up on books for the winter, but I guess I'll be stocking up for summer now. As, for books, I'm reading this facinating bio of Catherine the Great. Could you imagine being married for 8 years and still be a virgin??? Yikes, but she was amazing. And I just ordered "America, the book" by the Daily Show staff and the second Amarat (Sp?) by Clive Barker. I will be stalking the mailman.
