I'm sorry! If it's any consolation, not many people seem comfortable in one another's clothes.

Oh--you're very kind..yes, you're right--the majority of the city seems to be making just as much a fuss.

I try, but I'm afraid I can't be of much help today.... I'd lend you something to wear, God knows I have plenty but outfits are behaving like stubborn magic.

Don't worry, I'm sure no one thinks you've chosen to dress on purpose, today.

Hm. Maybe in the future you could keep an alternate costume outfit around the house, just in case. Not that I think you only have one, but something you could put on over other things... a trenchcoat, perhaps.
