The Cutest Commission Ever
Before Christmas I received the cutest little commission ever from one of my co-workers little ones. I’ve lost it of course, since then. But luckily I take pictures of everything with my cell phone!! So here it is:

Well, I finally had a moment to dig through my yarn and create what Max had requested.
Do you think he’ll like it? I took a little artistic liberty and trimmed it in green (it wasn’t specified on the diagram!) but it looked so unfinished without it. My only real concern is size. My coworker didn’t give me specifications, and just said, he’s a regular 9 year old size head! But in my experience, that could mean anything really. Kids heads are big. So I tried to make it on the bigger side… and then when i showed it to both Joules (who visited me last night) and Andy, they both thought it looked too small!? *insert panic attack* I’m just going to have to not fret about it. If it’s too small, I can always add a few more rows.
Sometimes I get stressed out by specific commission requests, but this one was just too fun. I think I enjoyed the diagram aspect the most. I’m going to make all future requesters draw me a picture!
My plans to blog like crazy in January have fallen a little flat. I looked at the calendar today and felt a little jolt at the fact that it’s almost February!? What?! I’ve been battling a cold all week too. I seem to always get sick in January. Every year, without fail. So I’ve been taking it easy, working on some projects and watching this crazy awesome show on Youtube called Ancient Aliens. It’s all about looking at archeology and ancient texts / ruins and making a case for alien intervention in our past. The theories require an open mind for sure, but the history I’m learning is absolutely fascinating.
Any who! I have to go back to work today. I can’t miss any more work. I’m already having anxiety attacks about how much I have to catch up on. *just breath Christine*
