so that paid internship that i applied for, at S&G, they e-mailed me today to say that it had already been filled.
BUT
they're looking for unpaid interns, and asked if i would be interested in being one! i was already prepared for the fact that i would have to start out unpaid, as that seems to be the only way to get into this business in the first place. at least when you're young... they trial-run you at no cost to them, and then hire you if they like you.
at any rate, this isn't set in stone, but i am very happy that they responded at all! yay!
i'm going to cross my fingers and keep looking for a paying job.
