Well, no, but that's most of it.

I mean, if you're really powerful, but you have no will behind your strength other than just selfish gain, then you might as well be weak. It doesn't matter how powerful you can be as a fighter, all that really matters is what you fight for and why.

Your will to be strong for your friends, your will to fight for what's right.

That's what makes you strong.

Well uh, ehehe, I guess I started when I was five? My dad- he... wasn't with us anymore, and there were some aliens coming to destroy the Earth, so Piccolo trained me for a year so I could help.

Dad ended up beating them once he came back to life though.
