I just realized I hadn't posted since Grandma Lucy passed. The funeral was emotional but good. I made it through singing and everything. I kind of wish I could have shared some of the good news with her.
On that note. The sexist-rush limbaugh listening-asshole I worked with got fired after trying to bribe a co-worker (with a year's supply of Dr. Pepper, dumbass). Then I got his job. So, as of today I am a permanent employee with U of M. I just finished enrolling in my insurance benefits and I'll hopefully be getting be retirement stuff squared away tomorrow. Yeah retirement, weird.
There's the good news. Hopefully, I can bask for a bit before my weird ass life goes crazy again. I'm tired from the day and also singing with the Out Loud Chorus of Ann Arbor tonight. Mixing singing with advocating LGBT rights is pretty awesome. BTW I went to the National Equality March this past weekend. It was freaking amazing and there was actually a rainbow in the sky at one point.
