Summary: Set right after the Avengers movie, someone realizes that it is love.
Natasha stood outside of the sick bay watching the doctors as they hovered around Clint. The pair had just come back from seeing everyone off - just to check if they needed to do anything before vacation - and Clint had been grabbed. She leaned against the glass, crossing her arms as she waited. She closed her eyes half a moment, remembering when she spoke with Loki.
Is this love, Agent Romanov?”
“Love is for children.”
She opened her eyes as she heard the door opened and smiled at seeing him. “They took their time.”
“Yeah,” Clint said.
She took his arm and led him over to a corner. “So, where do you want to go?”
“Why do you think they’re going to let me go anywhere?”
She blinked at that. “Because - well, because you’re fine now.”
He shook his head. “Better just get away from me, Tasha,” he said and started to walk away.
She grabbed his arm and pulled him back. “And you can stop the bullshit anytime now. I know you’re fine - I’m the one who got him from your mind. Now, let’s get far away from here and not think about coming back if they’re going to kick you off because of what Loki did.”
“Why do you even care?” He asked quietly.
She moved and kissed his lips, not caring who saw what they were doing. She relaxed a bit as he started to kiss her back. She broke the kiss when they needed to breathe. “You don’t need your armor around me.”
“I forgot that,” he whispered.
“So, where do you want to go?” She asked.
“Somewhere where we don’t need a lot of clothes,” he said.
She grinned and led him to one of the jets. She made the pilot take them down to the ground. From there, she used Tony’s influence to get them to Tetepare Island, leaving the rest of the world behind.
