I couldn't fit it above, but my subject line is a lovely quote from Jonathan Coulton's song "I hate California". I definitely agree, though mostly with regards to Southern CA and some parts of central CA, not so much northern CA.
The list of shit to do:
Tues, 2/12: Bio lab 1pm-4pm
write AJH paper
Wed, 2/13: American Jewish History paper due
make food for History Club meeting in evening
voice rehearsal with accompanist
study for Bio midterm
Thurs, 2/14: Bio midterm
start Women/Gender in Med. Europe paper
Avoid Valentine's Days revelry
Go to prospective professor lecture for History/Classics department
Fri, 2/15: work on Women/Gender paper
practice voice lesson music
Vagina Monologues!
Mon, 2/18: Turn in Women/Gender paper
Voice lesson
Jam packed choir session
packed for ACDA
Tues, 2/19: classes until 11:30
perform with Voce at convocation
leave for ACDA in Vancouver, BC
Everything got smashed into this one week and a half. blah. And that list doesn't even include my classes and my everyday homework like reading and taking reading notes. This week is going to involve a great deal of caffeine, specially-designed study playlists, and a good amount of time spent in pajamas (the clothing of choice for heavy studying).
But I'm pretty happy right now, because i just subscribed to Jonathan Coulton's free Thing a Week podcast. Check it out on itunes.
