confusion abounds
this saturday will be possibly the most ironic day in my history, as far as symbols and portents go. i have to attend a funeral in the morning and a wedding in the evening. hopefully i get to take off my shirt and tie in between and relax.
in case you're wondering what i've been up to lately, well, surfing the interwebs is now banned at work, and when i'm home, there's just so much tv to watch. i'm not kidding. i had to watch 'chuck' live on monday because we only have one dvr box, and it was already recording two shows (the girlfriend refused to give up 'how i met your mother,' and i'll be damned if i'm giving up 'prison break'). so, not much time to chat it up with my friends on the proverbial net.
also, i've decided i'm definitely auditioning for last comic standing next season. i'm a better comedian than most of the people who end up on it, plus i have the added advantage of already having show ideas to work with the development deal that you win with nbc. that way, if they decide to bring carrot top and dane cook back for the finale again, i can perform my mandate and rid the world of both of them.
okay, i'm already late for work and haven't showered yet. what a thursday! later, kids.
