Not now, I'm making toast!
Actually, I'm making a tattooed skin, seeing as toasters aren't allowed in the dorm. *cough*
It started as an attempt to blend a few of my favorite tattooed skintones onto Pooklet's Compulsion as a base (I love tattooed skins but sometimes I hate the base the creator used), but they didn't look right because I fail at blending so I said, "screw it, I'll make my own."
It's loosely inspired by the marque tattoos in Jacqueline Carey's book series, which is a backpiece that goes from the nape of the neck to the base of the spine, often featuring themes from nature.
I went off on my own thing with the stomach and arm bits, I just thought they'd look cool. The pattern is orchids on a black spiky vine.
I loved setting up the posing for this, somehow it morphed into a weird Victoria's Secret type shoot, but it was fun. I might release it for downloading at some point, I'm kind of re-thinking the arm piece. Thoughts? Opinions? Amusing anecdotes?
EDIT: I uploaded it here if you want to snag it. Only the adult/elder female has the tattoos, I couldn't figure out a suitable flowery pattern for males. :S
