I never update...
My livejournal's been pretty sparse lately. I think a lot of people have kinda offed LJ for other sites or they just don't have time for it anymore. I've never been a big fan of posting a bunch of shit about my life, but I did for awhile and now it's become the thing furthest from my mind. I don't really have any reason to write tonight, but I guess I just felt the urge to say uh, I'm still here.
Not much to update... birthday was pretty good, didn't do a whole lot for it, after 21 they're just not as special. The prototype/test builds went fairly well at work, stressful, but there were no huge mistakes made on my part. Halloween was pretty good, went back to KC and saw Brian and Lisa and partied with them. Raquel and I are still just dating which is totally fine with me. As much as I enjoy having a relationship, I'm happy with not taking things too seriously.
Searched for a house to move into today and I know I've said I've been looking for months but now it's time to get serious and check out EVERY single option there is. Before I would see a couple here or a couple there and so far nothings made me think, "yeah, i wanna live here", but now it's time to move. I put in my 30 day notice here, I'm gonna reserve a truck for the weekend after thanksgiveing this week sometime, and from now until I sign a lease I'm calling and looking at anything that even remotely sounds close to something I want. Thing is I'm so damn picky I can't just sign up to live in any shack. It has to have a garage, a dishwasher, preferably all the kitchen appliances (some don't have refrigerators that I've seen), and a patio or a deck, and a bedroom and a room I can use for my office. And last but not least I can't drop more than 6 or 7 hundred a month for rent. I have to find something now, so no more slacking.
The street racers are all out tonight across the street at quicktrip. I keep hearing the sound of reving engines and tires squeeling. I haven't raced on the street, allthough it is a good night for racing, my tires are in desperate need of replacement. At least I knew that a couple months ago, so the 800 bucks for new ones wont be too hard on me. If it snows before I get them, I'm screwed.. it's not like the sportscar has the best traction in the snow on high-performance summer tires in the first place but little to no tread HPS tires wouldn't get me anywhere. I need an alignment too, the front tires have some uneven wear even though it still tracks straight.
