Long ass weekends...
Well I played my very first round of golf on Friday, and I must say it was FUCKING hot outside. Actually... I spent a lot of time outside this weekend. I was almost afraid of making a fool of myself on the golf course, but it was actually a lot of fun. We were paired up with people we don't normally work around, but I enjoyed the guys I was playing with. We ended up 6th out of 21 teams. We were 2 over par. I had a few good drives, and a couple good shots onto the green, so I was pleased. The picnic was great, there were a couple free kegs so we had a few (like 5) free beers, went swimming, and went on the nature trails. I climbed this big ass rope/tire pole climb thing, and I'm sure my co-workers loved the girls. We were gonna go to the Q for a bit, but Laura hosted Sat so I didn't feel like being there, plus I was exahusted from being in the sun all day. I came home and talked to Raquel, whom I didn't get to go on that date with on Thursday. We were gonna go to the movies Saturday, but since we met online she wants to meet in a public place and she doesn't have a car, so hopefully we'll meet this week, and I'll be able to pick her up after that. Ended up seeing Wedding Crashers with Amy, then headed out to the Q for Laura's hosting. Did exceptionally well at pool early on, and then went home early cuz MJ ended up having to work late. Today was the WichitaStreets.com car show, so I went out there around 1 and showed my car. Got some really good feedback and compliments. Made some contacts in the scene, who've seen me around. I'll probably start working on the car this winter when I have a garage and I've paid off my family. Then when the shows come around in spring I'll have something better than stock to display. No Coast Customs does some really nice work, so we'll see what happens. After that I had an awesome dinner at Red Lobster with Neesa, MJ, and Josh, then we went back to catch a movie. Talked to MJ a little about being roommates and she definatley wants to, just have to make sure it's all okay. Ugh.. I'm so exhausted... I don't know whats going on next weekend if I'm heading to KC, but somebody please tell me there's something going on... goodnight.
