weekend
had a good weekend, all things considered.
scored a goal yesterday against the little turds from uni of nsw. we finished on top of the ladder, and play them again next week in the semi finals. was good to finally bang one in this season.
today we played coogee. they only had 8 players (seven after the fight) so it was a shit game, and we had nothing to play for, having secured top spot yesterday. i decided not to play the second half, and because we didn't have an official ref, i officiated the second half. had a couple of tough calls to make, and i kind of lost it at one of the coogee players after i saw him doing an impersonation of me after i allowed a goal to our team which this guy thought was offside. "he's just standing there with his hands in his pockets *hunches back and looks ridiculous*" do i really look like that?
anyway, i called him a fucking dickhead, and a couple of sentences later in my tirade of abuse, a complete muppet. i'm not sure referees are supposed to behave like that.
never seen a ref being restrained before :-). well, i say restrained, but not physically. this guy was a lot bigger than me, i wasn't about to start a fight. i'm very gentle off the field - promise!
just finished watching all the episodes of the mighty boosh. what a great show. awesome!
