Nobody uses this thing anymore but I think I just figured out what I'm going to do about this
"picking a major and using it for the rest of your life sort of thing." And that is certainly worth an update!
So here it goes:
I major in what I like.
Yep, that's it. So far, I have a major in Spanish, could be useful someday, but I don't really care, I just really like Spanish. I don't have a second major, but now I will just randomly pick something.
And this all works because... If by some chance that I don't find something to do with my still unknown major in the next three years, I'll just settle for law school. Because you really can have any degree and/or major and still get into law school (so long as you pass the LSAT and keep up good grades, and so on).
Well that is reassuring. No more worrying about majors for me. I'm either going to be really happy doing what I want or I'll be a filthy rich lawyer. darn... haha okay, I could totally end up a miserable and poor lawyer who doesn't have a practice... but let's just pretend that won't happen 8-)
