I think I have to take a moment and thank whatever god of Miami keeps us snow-free. I don't know how the rest of you do it ( Read more... )

I think the average life span is about 8 years, unless your kid is going to pull a Kill Bill on the fish and step on it accidentally.

The girl is still missing then?

That long? I don't think Cody's ever had one last more than a few months.

Kill Bill?

Unfortunately, yes, the girl is still very much missing.

That's what wiki says, but I think that when they're used as pets for kids it's life spam is much, much shorter.

Never watched the movie? There's a scene when a little girl is talking bout her fish and how she accidentally kill it.

That's bad.

Oh. Maybe that's normal then.

It's a movie? No, I've never seen it. I never was a big action movie guy. I get enough blood in my daily life.

Very bad.

If your kids get bored of the fish you can always give it to someone.

That one is sort of bloody too, it gets ridiculous at time. I'm not very fond of those, but Artie made me watch it because 'It's a Trantino movie, and he's a classic. What do you mean you don't know who Tarantino is, Kurt?'.

And how is your sister copping with the frustration?

I guess so.

Well, I don't either if that helps?

She likes to take it out on me. I think she's seen .. better days.

What sort of movie do you like? If you like them at all.

Trust me it's not your fault, as I teen I know we could be a hell to deal with.

It's often only a phase.

I mostly end up watching kid's movies. But I used to watch chick flicks with Rita. Not that I liked them, per se.

I watch CSI:Miami, when it doesn't cut too close to home. And I like the Discovery channel. That's.. about it.

I'm starting to get used to dealing with teens. It's not so bad when you know how their brains work, right?

You sounds like my dad. he used, sometimes still does it, to watch musicals with me because I like them a lot.

Yes, it gets better with time. Once they grow up they will value the fact that you was there for them, Dexter.

I'm glad you think so, Kurt. I can only hope they'll feel the same way.
